COVID INFORMATION Published February 2022
DURING A NATIONAL LOCKDOWN
Whilst we can’t wait to welcome guests to stay for holidays in our cottages as normal, we continue to be in a national lockdown and therefore we can’t accept your booking unless you are eligible under the Governments COVID Guidelines for staying away overnight.
If you are eligible to stay and are looking for a longer term let please contact us for more information.
If you are already booked to stay with us for a holiday later this year we await the publication of the Governments Roadmap later this month to determine whether your stay can go ahead.
COVID CANCELLATION POLICY
If your holiday booking is effected by the dates of a national lockdown and you are unable to arrive for your holiday then you will be offered a change of dates preferably. If there is good reason why you can’t change to another date then a refund can be arranged (minus the booking fee as per our terms https://putsboroughmanorcottages.co.uk/terms-and-conditions-of-booking-holiday-cottages/).
If you are unable to travel due to a Tier System or Local Lockdown but our business is still allowed to operate. Provide us with notice that you are unable to stay and we will re-advertise your dates – upon re-letting a change of dates or refund will be offered (minus fees where applicable in our terms)
If you are unable to travel for any other reason, then our normal terms and conditions will apply.
We would ask all of our guests to abide by any government regulations regarding travel and holidays and group sizes.
Please be considerate and protect yourselves and our locals by abiding by the rules on social distancing and mask wearing whilst you are here! We are a small community and we like to take care of each other…
DO NOT ARRIVE TO STAY IF
Prior to or on the day of arrival any of your party are showing any signs of Coronavirus. Those being:
New, continuous cough
Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
If in doubt, please seek professional advice before leaving home. For everyone’s safety we reserve the right of admission for guests showing these symptoms. If a member of your party show symptoms of Coronavirus whilst staying with us it is important that you take a test, go home straight away and self-isolate there. We will require contact details for all adults in line with the Governments Track and Trace initiative.
Putsborough Manor Cottages has been assessed and accredited by the AA and Visit England COVID Confident Schemes and has in place the necessary risk assessment, safety measures and staff training to open safely. This is in line with the UK’s government guidelines as well as UKHospitality and respective trade association guidelines, as they are published.
In addition to the deep cleaning protocols required by these schemes we are also using fogging technology in each of our cottages on EVERY changeover. You can be assured that by using this technology your cottage will be entirely sanitised and every surface will have been treated with antivirals.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to allow time to follow the deep cleaning regime required and to fog each cottage and give enough time for this to be effective our arrival and departure times may need to be earlier and later respectively. Our normal arrival time will be moved from 4pm to 5pm and departure time will be moved from 10am to 9am. We also have in place a departure procedure which for the safety of our staff we would ask you to follow. Full details will be provided prior to your booked stay.
